An attitude of gratitude... March
 

No matter what is happenning in our lives - good things or not so good things - there are always things for which we can show gratitude. It puts it all into perspective.

- home sweet home

- a good trip away - first for Alex's third birthday and then eight days with my sister Barbara after her back surgery

- willingness to try and eat healthfully and in a sane manner while I was gone - which I mostly did

- my own easy chair/lazy boy - love it

- friends, family, this cite, facebook, cell phones, internet

- being able to bend over and pick up pine cones yesterday
- sleep
- enjoying talking with friends at church last night while ignoring the refreshment table
- my sweet baby granddaughter
- our county's Leisure Center

+ a very nice weekend
+ learning to eat and enjoy whole foods
+ no Diet Dew for 1 week and the headaches are gone
+ more than enough
+ 25 lbs to 200...HOLY COW!

- friends who support my weight-loss efforts - both in person and here!
- feeling my heart swell with happiness when i hear an upbeat song or feel the sunshine - I am not depressed like I was before I began!
- all the new and exciting things life springs on you just when you think you've got it all figured out!

Seeing the sun and blue sky today for the first time in ages.

Realising a pair of my gym pants are definitely too big and I need new ones.

Getting through my step class and although it was with a different instructor and harder than usual, managing to keep going and enjoy it.

Getting through a difficult weekend of socialising and family visiting without going as off plan as I expected.

Having a great supportive husband
My beautiful daughter
Having a job that I really enjoy
Being able to workout at the gym at work for free!!!

- willingness to try - a healthy day yesterday- I am so grateful

- getting so much 'done' yesterday - yikes, so much do to when gone for ten days

- DS did some speaking at a college class about some of his experiences - that makes me proud

- seeing fun pictures of my grandson on Facebook

+ talked 2 sister on phone this morning
+ Sandy noticed I had lost weight
+ wore khakis & sweater yesterday
+ more than enough!

- being pain free
- DS has not given up in college
- the heater under my desk
- the strength to resist temptation

- willingness to try - especially while I was away fom home for so long...I am SO grateful

- the scale smiled at me

- DS is working it out

- having enough

- this laptop - how nice to sit in my easy chair and and cruise on the computer/internet

+ the thoughts of the temperatures being in the 50's next week

+ I kept my mouth shut and it paid off!

+ LP orders are entered! (I had procrastinated)

+ Yes, I am drinking a sparkling water!

+ I am so blessed and thankful for EVERYTHING

-Snow that is starting to melt away!

I can wear size 22!!!!! first time since 1994. Yea me.
