Mixed feelings about weigh-in this week

  • So my weigh in was Wednesday. BTW, is there a regular weigh-in thread? I couldn't find it. Anyway, I missed my weekly goal by about a half of a pound, which was disappointing but I was far more interested in the fact that I made it out of those darn 40's! Yes, 238.8 was the verdict. I am thrilled to have finally left the 40's through the floor rather than going back into the 50's like I have in the past.
  • Don't sweat the small stuff. 1/2 a pound is nothing...it's water, actually.

    But wow, good for you! You're doing great! Good for you for saying good-bye to the 40's!
  • Out of the 240's! That's great!

    Missing your goal by a half a pound can be dissapointing, but it's much better than--missing it by a pound, not losing at all, or gasp!--gaining!

    You lost, and that's all that matters! You therefore were successful, as you've made progress in your efforts. You'll get that next half pound soon.
