I had to go buy a pair of dress pants on Saturday. I picked up my usual pair of 24's off the rack and they swallowed me whole. I ended up buying a pair of 20's.

I nearly cried I was so happy.

Congratulations! That is an amazing feeling, isn't it? Back when I was losing, my husband would go shopping with me and try to get me to pick up a smaller size. I never would. I'd always head to the dressing room with my old size, because I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that I'd actually gotten smaller. Then I'd have to go try a smaller pair. There is nothing that felt as good as being able to wear a smaller size. Nothing in the world tastes as good.
