Default Starting my journey...

I am so happy to find this forum. I haven't been weighed yet, but I know I have WELL over 100 lbs to lose. I hope to make some friends and get some encouragement. I will begin the Ideal Protein diet the first week of March, and I have confidence that this program will be a good one for me.

I am on insulin for my diabetes now..and the weight has totally caught up with me. I deserve more in this life!

Congrats on making the decision to change your life! You won't regret it! I've never heard of the ideal protein diet, although I really haven't heard of most things related to weight loss.

What are you doing now while you wait for the first week of March?

Good luck!

I'm new too, and have been enjoying reading the forums here.

I've been fighting off Type 2 for over 10 years (PCOS/IR) and was able to get off the Metformin. My SIL got off her insulin. You can do this! Beat it back!

YAY! So happy to have you here!

I agree with previous posters - don't wait until Mar 1 to begin your journey! There are things you can do TODAY! By Mar 1, you might have already lost weight.

Also, check out the success forums and read Lori Bell's story - your beginning in March lines up with hers and it might be the extra motivational push you need!

There's no ticker here because I have no idea what I weigh, nor do I have plans to get on the scale anytime soon. My goals are to take care of myself in healthy ways and let the scale fall wherever it will. "It's not about skinny anymore - it's about healthy."

I am new here also. I was here before years ago. Not even sure what I went by way back when. But I am back and ready to start again.
