Default An attitude of gratitude - February

An attitude of gratitude...

For the past 10 years or so - every morning, I've written down five things for which I am grateful. Most days it's easy. Some days, not so easy. But, it always puts things into perspective. No matter how good or bad things seem to be - there are always things to be grateful for.

Got five to start out February?

Today, I'm grateful for:

Surviving my first day back at work after a year away from the classroom!
My bento box filled with delicious, low point food
My DH for driving 45 minutes each way to pick me up after work
Sausages
My lovely big ceramic water jug on my desk at work

Today I'm grateful....

That I survived another bout of depression on my rollercoaster.
That I went to the dentist and had my teeth cleaned last week.
That my sons are healthy and my middle boy got an attendance award last week for not missing any school, though he's home sick today.
That my husband and I are connecting again.
That I have homemade soup at home for lunch.

Wow (5) FIVE a day...everyday? Okay...do you do some repeats sometimes?

That my friend Geri called me and asked me to come and sit with her while she was having surgery.

My 941 payroll taxes were turned in on time!

Warmer weather...36 degrees! HOOT!

That I said NO today to Subway Cookies!

My new friend Heidi!

Oh my goodness, I forgot to post yesterday, so here it is:

Yesterday I was thankful that for the first time I drove myself to work in the snow!!!

I was thankful that went to work even though I really did not want to go.

I was thankful for another POP day.

That my daughter did the grocery shopping and bought good stuff

Thal I got all of my veggies and water in

Now for todays thankfullness:

I woke up this morning

That Friday is payday and it will be here soon

That my daughter started her new job today

That I have had three bottles of water already this morning

That the snow is melting

Hugs love and blessings to each of you,
Ags

- my friend, Cathy Jo, is coming over for tea today.

- my son is doing well

- internet - such a wonderful way to stay in touch with people
