Smile NSV - Inches Lost

Good Morning All,

Every couple of months I take my measurements and write them down to see how many inches I have lost. I just took them this morning and I thought I would share them with you all. The first time I took my measurements was Jan 8, 2009 and then this morning

Bust - 12 3/4 inches lost
Waist - 12 1/4 inches lost (almost down into the 30s)
Hips - 16 1/2 inches lost
Thighs - 7 1/2 inches lost
For a total of 48 1/2 inches lost just in those four places alone.

I cant believe that I have lost so many inches. Does anyone else keeps track of the inches lost and would like to share.

Are you serious? Wow, you must be pleased with yourself! Now I wish I'd done that when I started. LOL! Good for you!

The last time I took measurements was in December (and I'm still coming off TOM so I'm not taking them right now!) but I started with a 42" waist and last time I measured I was right at 30 inches. That's 12 inches lost in my waist alone, on a 'classic' hourglass figure. My hips have gone from a terrifying 57" down to a slightly less terrifying 41", for a loss of 16 inches.

When I think about it that way I've really made some progress toward a healthier me. Thanks for the reminder!

So far I am down:
Neck - .75
Bust - 6.75
Waist - 7
Hips - 6.75
Thighs - 1.75 each
Calves - 1 each
Upper arms - 2.25 each
Lower arms - 0.5 each

That is a grand total of 32.25 inches I have lost and never plan to find.

I have also taken my BMI from 44.8 to 33.9 for a loss of 10.9 BMI points.

At the beginning my exercise was kind of sporadic. I am hoping now that I have a regular exercise schedule and a good plan in place for keeping it up the inches will start coming off even faster even if the scale slows down a little. I know that's how it generally works.
