Dawn of the living bread...
Couldn't sleep last night, so I got up and made coffee at 3 AM. I should have remembered right then that this makes me ravenous and carb crazed all day long. By 11:30 I had already inhaled half my calorie budget for the day. By 2:00 I was famished again trying to post about it but couldn't put it into words all I kept thinking about was the loaf of fresh, crusty, home made bread calling my name from down in the kitchen all slathered with butter...and I could almost taste it... and I came this (this) close !!! BUT thenI stopped and I thought of how I would feel afterwards, and decided I would try taking a nap instead....whew!!! After that, I got up and did my exercise routine....I am so darn happy and proud of myself that I guesse I will just have to give myself my first carrot:carrot:(hope the carrot shows on my post LOL)

Great job! Homemade bread would probably do me in - I love bread! I only make it if I plan to eat it.

I make multiple loaves of delicious bread a week, and it can be quite a temptation to resist! You did very well, congratulations on knowing your limits and not giving in when you didn't need it!

:woohoo: Congrats! You did a seriously awesome job resisting temptation!
|
I hear you. I bake bread pretty much every day, and I have to weigh it before I eat it.
