Default First Post -- Here!

Well, my name is Melissa and I'm 27 years old. I currently weigh 304 lbs.

Ouch. That hurt. That's the first time I've ever written that down anywhere.

I have 3 kids, 4, almost 3, and 3 months. I've decided I'm gonna lose weight because I want to see them grow up.

I'm new to the forum and will be just lurking around for awhile to see where I fit in..but thought I should introduce myself first.

So... Hi!

Welcome. I'm here for the same reason, get healthy so I'm around for along time with my kiddies. I have an almost 3 year old and an 11 month old, so I know you're busy, but there is great support on here. Congrats on your decision to get healthy.

Welcome, Missyanne!

Glad you're here! It can be shocking to admit how much we weigh, but honestly this is the safest place in the world to do it. We understand.

Anyway, good for you for joining us!

Yeah, writing that number down can be hard. If I remember correctly, I only lurked here for quite a while because I didn't want to put the number in writing.

But you did it and that's a huge first step of the ones to follow on your road to success.

You've picked a great place to be.

Hello and Welcome! Keep coming back...I have found 3FC 2 b full of wonderful folks!!
2011(ish) and I didn't understand:
Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
~ Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

I'm making a plan & working that plan. I have direction & discipline! Who knew it was possible?
