Default First Post -- Here!

Well, my name is Melissa and I'm 27 years old. I currently weigh 304 lbs.

Ouch. That hurt. That's the first time I've ever written that down anywhere.

I have 3 kids, 4, almost 3, and 3 months. I've decided I'm gonna lose weight because I want to see them grow up.

I'm new to the forum and will be just lurking around for awhile to see where I fit in..but thought I should introduce myself first.

Welcome. I'm here for the same reason, get healthy so I'm around for along time with my kiddies. I have an almost 3 year old and an 11 month old, so I know you're busy, but there is great support on here. Congrats on your decision to get healthy.

Yeah, writing that number down can be hard. If I remember correctly, I only lurked here for quite a while because I didn't want to put the number in writing.

But you did it and that's a huge first step of the ones to follow on your road to success.
