Awesome goal. Don't fret about the space. Encouragement, support and accountability seem to be what 3FC is here for. I won't wish you good luck, just good willpower.

You're not "wasting space"... we're all here for some accountability. Stick with it! :)

Sounds like a great goal. It is not a waste of space, that's what the space is for - helping us to reach our goals.

Thanks -- trying to keep my "mentality" up. I've been fairly active at the weight loss game for about a year now. Went home for Christmas and saw folks for the first time in a year. I'd lost 91 lbs and no one said a word. Found myself looking in mirrors to see if it was noticeable -- I mean I know I'm still fat but I thought it was still an accomplishment...so I'm a bit discouraged because ya work this hard, this long, and it's not worthy of notice...and I'm whining, deeply apologetic...

Good job hitting the gym! And 91 pounds is a huge deal. If people didn't notice, they are blind. My guess is they didn't say anything because they didn't want to embarrass you.

No doubt true. One of the ladies in the office called me aside one day and said, "I know I'm not supposed to say anything, but you are doing a really good job."

PeanutsMom704 01-18-2010 07:54 PM

yep, you are doing a great job, keep it up!!

My favorite thing about what you've done is that you didn't **wait** for the first of the month. Starting something *right now* is so key!

*bump* just trying not to lose the post

Fallen off the path, trying to get back on.
