Talking New to this

Hey everyone! I am not sure about what I am doing but I am really hoping this journey leads me to my success. I have always been the fat girl. I used to be considered fat in elementary school than when i hit High School I was thick now I have gone back to be fat only this time its for very good reason--because I am like 100 pounds overweight. I recently found out I have a High School reunion in June and I am hoping to lose as much weight as possible prior to than--at least I will have a weight loss story to tell rather than an excuse of a story why I am so fat! Anyways I am not really sure what weight I want to be. I do not want to be thin! I want to be able to look in the mirror and say I love my body at this size--as simple as that! I don't have an ideal weight or ideal size because since I can remember I have always thought I was fat. So with my 28 year old mind I may like being a size 14 which when I was a sizew 14 back when I hated it. Who knows we will see. Good luck to you all and congrats at the same time. I wish you all the best because I know the fat girls struggle--and want the thin girls clothes:0

Great first step!! I had some of the same reasons as you for wanting to start losing weight. Seemed like noone else from high school got fat but me lol I know that's not true but it feels that way!

Do you have a plan that you are going to work with? Diet? Exercise?

Hi! Glad you found us...

I think things like reunions and weddings are good at spurring us into action, but make sure you're thinking long term too! It's forever if you do it right. But sometimes when we're losing for a specific event, the event comes and then the relief of that triggers backsliding.

Enough of that, though! Welcome to 3FC and to the 100lb Club. It's been such a helpful place for me and I hope it is for you too!
