Smile I "offically" started today...

Counting calories!! Im feeling really good about it! Ive normally done WW..but I wanted something more simple and thats easy to stick to.

My fiance is doing it with me. It helps SOOOOO much with someone in the same house that doing the same thing as you! When I was craving onion rings last night (darn Sookie Stackhouse!) he reminded me that I didnt need it..and he grabbed some carrots ( which he knows I would steal from him!) and then I was fine. I just need to NOT think about food. I have to think about other stuff....like cleaning out my room to make room for my new cashmere pillowtop king size bed we are getting on Tuesday!! Yikes...well enough about that lol

So , I wanted to wish ALL of you GOOD LUCK in your journey, whether you are just starting, or getting back on the wagon. You CAN do this!! We all can!

I love calorie counting! I was ready to start WW but though I'd give calorie counting a try first because...well...it's free! LOL!

It is helpful doing it together, isn't it? My husband joined me about a month into my own journey and it has been nice encouraging each other. He's responsible for his own extra 100 calories at each meal that he gets over me. I give him a 200 calorie meal and he has to figure out his other calories. LOL! It's just not fair!

I totally think its easier counting calories! Ive lost 50 lbs (and gained it back again) with WW.. its easy just looking at a container without getting your points finder out lol. And its free! I found some Apps for my Ipod touch that are calorie counting and they are wonderful! No more writing things down!!
