Can you believe what a difference a couple of years can make? Seriously....it's so amazing what a person can do in such a short time if they set their mind to it.

And by the way, I'm jealous--even at your highest weight, you still had/have great legs.

I am literally tearing up looking at and thinking of how you've transformed your life. You. You did that. You put in the effort. You decided to do this and do this you have.

Please don't take offense at this, I know it's going to come out wrong, but please know that I mean no disrespect or anything like it of the kind -

Your pictures just prove that we don't have to live "that way" (for lack of a better term) if we don't want to. There IS a better life and it's ours for the taking. We have control over "this". We don't have to be overweight if we don't want to be. And we shouldn't settle for a worse existence when a better one (best in fact) is available. All right, I'll back off now. You just got me very emotional and very think-y. Because I lived "that way" for so long. And it was SO painful and SO hard. When ever I hear of someone saying how hard this lifestyle is, it just doesn't compare to the hard of living "that way". There is very little *hard* about adhering to a healthy lifestyle. Okay, so I started again. Sorry.

Bravo my friend. You make us all very proud. And get us to think.
