Still here, still clinging on. I wanted to thank you all for your support this past year and to wish you a happy Christmas.

Off to say Mass in about an hour, then trying to go and collect ancient Mother. It's only about an hour away on a normal day but I just couldn't get to her yesterday, with the fog and the ice, so attempt #2 today.

We're having The Christmas Meal on Sunday, when my brother and his family get here, so Ma and I are having a very healthy smoked salmon salad for lunch today. mmmmmmmmmm.

Rosinante - Merry Christmas! Hope you can get to your mother without too much trouble today. Christmas salmon - I love it. My gift to myself today is to stay on my plan and not overeat.

Merry Christmas, Alice! I also hope you have a safe trip to pick up your mom. I have had a couple of days of undisciplined eating, so today is the day I will reign things in. I will still have a nice dinner and possibly a cookie, but I'm done with the potato chips, the peanut brittle, the salty, flavored popcorn. DONE.

Your salmon actually sounds very healthy. Maybe I'll stop by! ;)

Merry HO HO HO! I'm happy to say another successful christmas has been had, and I'm so sleepy and feel great! I 'saved myself' for weeks, no cookies or candies, i kept my eye on the prize -- my mom's turkey dinner with all the fixins -- and lemme tell you that plate was AMAZING!!!!! and it was ONE plate, so I lay my head down with a clean conscience tonight ;) Merry Christmas to all and to all a gooooood night!
