Ouchy nsv?

Ok, I have no idea if this is related to my weight loss, so weigh in (no pun intended) and let me know what you think.

My bottom hurts.

A few weeks ago, my sister, who is as thin as a rake, said (in the most loving way possible, I'm sure) that she was looking forward to the day when I'd lost enough weight that my bottom'd hurt from sitting on...my pelvic bone for long enough. I thought she was kidding...and if not kidding, then it would take a huge amount of weight.

A massive amount. Like 150lbs or something. Not 39lbs! Dude.

So. Is this an nsv, or me just sitting down for too long (be appraised that I spent at least 90 minutes on my bike getting around today)? Has anyone else had this? Please say someone else has had this.

Ouch.

:(

My butt hurts ALL THE TIME now. I can't sit through a whole movie without standing up anymore! No padding left...

It looks like I still have plenty of padding left but my bottom hurts also. I have another problem with it, I have loose skin there. Now if I am going to have loose skin, I would rather have it there than on my face. Sometimes though, I have to be careful how I sit to be sure that the skin is not pinched!

my rear hurts too. I thought it was just because I sit in plastic chairs at school all day.
However, I don't have much of a bottom to begin with, so it was to be expected, I guess, with even less. Stupid non-butt butt

Haha, good to know I'm not the only one!

You're definitely not alone! Despite my booty still being bootylicious (lol) it definitely hurts when I sit on the floor for exercise or if I sit on hard surfaces.

Depends how much and often you normally ride a bike. 90 minutes will put anyone unaccustomed to it in pain!

I cycle at least 10km every day getting around the place - I live in a very flat place and bike is the main mode of transport.

Though I've just thought of something else that could be causing it. On Wednesday I was working out and the pt was telling me to tighten my bottom muscles all the time. Perhaps the ache is an after-effect.

I have not had any butt pain yet, but I do get pains from laying on my tummy for too long from my ribs and hip bones. I am hoping that it will slack off some once I am more used to my bones being closer to the surface. My hubby is I certainly think it is an NSV.

I have the same!!

LOL, as funny as it sounds............its so true! I can't sit for long without my bottom hurting. I no longer have a butt, just bones. I think I'm gonna have to carry a pillow around everywhere I go.

I have a desk job (librarian) and I have this problem too. I do get up at least once and hour to run up and down stairs, and there are some tasks I can do standing up/moving around, but I do spend a decent amount of time in uncomfortable chairs, and my tailbone gets pretty sore.

Weight loss is so weird.

I'm new on 3fc..what is an NSV? I'm confused about what that means! Thanks. lol :]

An NSV is a Non-Scale Victory. It's something like a tangible proof of weight loss/improved health/general yayness that can be anything other than the number on the scale :)

Off-topic, but you have my dream job. Or at least one of them. I'd love a job which involved a multitude of books, preferably about maths, science, languages and lots of other random stuff like ancient legal systems.
