I'm sure most of you you know about the Jingle Away the Jiggle challenge here.
I think it's something that's really gotten me off my duff, lol.
Anyway, it's a month away from the end, and I still have 15 pounds yet to lose. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it, but in the back of my mind I know that I lost 15 pounds in the first month of this challenge. If I don't make it? That's ok! I've already lost 35 pounds at this point and I'm well on my way!
And if I do make it, I'll have lost 50 pounds since I started up again. I slowed down for a bit but the weight seems to be dropping off again.
So I'm not gonna kill myself over it, but wow . . . it would be so nice, lol. The best part of this all is that I'm finally starting to notice real changes in my body in the past couple of weeks. My new jeans (which are one size down from where I started in the challenge) are starting to get loose on me. My favorite t-shirt (which I've had for years) is no longer snug on me. I wouldn't say it's too big, but the fact that I don't have to stretch it out before putting it on makes me jump for joy!
And I discovered last night that I can shake my birthstone ring off. It's not falling off yet, but it's about time I be extra careful when I wear it.
I'm most excited for the next 30 pounds, as 220 was my lowest weight as an adult and I'm anxious to revisit it. After that . . . well, it's unknown territory for me. I do realize that asking for 15 pounds in one month is probably way too much . . . but I can dream as I work my tail off, right?
