So I've been noticing that this last ten pounds has taken me quite a while. I've been patient with it because I know that 90 percent of it is me going off plan here and there on the many "special occasions" we've had in the last 6 weeks. But I also knew that despite those, the weight was coming off a little slower than it probably should have in an ideal 3500-calorie-deficit-equals-one-pound-loss kind of world.
For about the last six days I have weighed in every morning at 220. It was taunting me. "Hey, Eumie! You're not gonna make it to the twoteens! You CAN'T and WON'T!" But I just kept on.

2nd goal--203 (lowest weight post college):
3rd goal--199 (Onederland!)
4th goal--189 (where I'd like to be before really trying to get pregnant)
5th goal--180 (100 lbs. from my highest weight ever)
6th goal--169 (overweight bmi)
7th goal--140 (normal bmi)
