Talking A shopping NSV!!!

My capris that I bought at the beginning of the summer (size 20's) are HANGING off of me. They both have a bit of stretch in them and by an hour after putting them on they are just not wearable anymore.

I had picked up a pair of size 18 Bum Equipment jeans at Value Village a month ago and was SUPER excited that they fit. An 18+ plus womens.

Well... THOSE are getting loose on me! So tonight I went shopping. I hardly dared to look at the Levi's because they do NOT make them in plus sizes (here anyways) and only in Misses. So an 18 in a Levi's is way smaller than an 18 plus (obviously.) But I hurried into the "non plus sized" section, grabbed an 18 mid rise bootcut in a DARK blue. Scurried into the change room (expecting someone to boot me back to the plus sizes) and tried them on. AND THEY FIT. And the look AWESOME. And I LOVE THEM. And they are LEVI'S and I have not worn Levi's since I grew out of them when I was 18!

So bolstered by my success I GAVE UP THE PLUS SIZES. Strode boldly into the regular sizes and grabbed a bunch of XL shirts and... THEY ALL FIT. So I bought those too. And some super cute cuddly fleece pj pants in an XL.

so.... BYE BYE PLUS SIZES FOREVER!!!!!!!!! And yes I know that they sell 14's and 16's as plus too but as Goddess as my witness I will NEVER walk into the plus sized "section" at Wal-mart again. Ever. Again.

Yea! Happy day! Did you cry? The first time I bought non plus sized clothing I bawled like a baby in the dressing room. I'm sure the lady at the front thought I was upset because something DIDN'T fit, LOL.

Congratulations! And the shopping just becomes more and more fun (one more size and I found I could pretty much shop anywhere again).
