Exercise goal: each week, 3x running and 2x personal training (they're booked in, so I'm not sure if they count as "goals").
Mini-goals: 223, 213, 203 and 193 (I'll think of treats for myself on those later )

09/20/09 - 223 (-1/-10) 0x running 2x personal training I'M AT MY FIRST MINI-GOAL! 10lbs DOWN! ok but just please don't tell my personal trainer I weighed myself, ok? And this means I've lost 25lbs overall, since the beginning of my weight loss journey w00t w00t! (only because the no. on the scale isn't everything...I've really got to get back into RUNNING! Please feel free to kick my butt and ask me if I've gone running over the next few days...)
Why not throw in another challenge, anything to keep me on top of my game!! Goal: To lose 50lbs. And put me at 240lbs.

I lose SLOWLY, but I'll go out on a limb and say I'd like to lose 24lbs during this challenge.
That will bring me to 258, a weight I haven't seen in at least 5 years.
(Note: I've been very half-hearted at this, but am starting fresh today, 09/20/09 and hope to make better progress.)
Also, right now my exercise goal is to walk a minimum of 5000 steps daily, and I'm doing a lot better with that than I am with my eating.

This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.

My goal for this challenge is to lose 52.8 pounds, roughly 2.5 pounds a week. I plan to exercise at least 5 days a week for an hour each session. I also want to focus on my water intake since I've been really slacking in that department lately and I'm feeling it!
My reward will be a weekend vacation with my boyfriend, destination unknown! :]

Time to journal and write down everything and weigh and measure things!! I am doing good on the exercise but need to be far more careful on the intake!!
Not sure what happened this week. I did have one day completely off plan.. no exercise and ate things I knew I shouldn't, but I was only over by about 500 calories or so that day. Oh well... moving on, maybe the scale will shock me this week.
My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.
Ok, like some others have said, what is one more challenge. They say you should have long term and short term goals right!!!

My special treat. well, we usually don't even think about val's day very much....maybe a special prize. new watch, or some new birkenstock sandals for my upcoming disney vacation in late april. Need to think about this one.
Can I join late? I don't usually join challenges, mostly because the date deadline seems to create a mental block that makes me hit a wall, weight loss-wise, but this one appeals to me mainly because I've never actually *had* a good Valentine's Day.
So my goal for V-Day itself is to have a reason to celebrate. I am currently single, but there is someone on whom I have some designs. We have actually gone out on one (very weird, sort of disastrous) date, but he's soooo socially ******ed and I've been so self-conscious for so long that we have just sort of been a disaster. I will spare you the long story, but I'm finally feeling self-confident enough these days to think I *deserve* to be happy, and that means I am feeling confident enough to do something about our flirtation.
So even if that situation doesn't go the way I think it will (he totally loves me; who wouldn't? ), I am ready to get back out there. Which means that by February I will have a reason to celebrate Valentine's Day.
My exercise goals are at least 360 minutes a week, which is what I'm already doing. Weight loss...I am going to be conservative and say 15 pounds, because I'm slowing down a lot here lately, and I don't want to disappoint and/or frustrate myself on that score. (Of course, more than that would be a welcome surprise!)
