Sorry, I am not holding out on you guys, I swear. It went really well! It's weird, though, because we work together and we are trying to keep things quiet (though I'm sure we are fooling no one) so there's this whole 'work dynamic' vs. 'dating dynamic' and it's a funny balancing act. Plus, we've known each other for over two and a half years so that makes the transition kind of strange as well.

All things considered, though, it was really great. We are getting together again tomorrow night, and he has been e-mailing me from one floor up all afternoon, so I guess those are both pretty good signs.

I can't believe I am seeing the scale moving DOWNWARD again. I am on a new thyroid medicine...could all these months of frustration have been cured that easily?!?!?! ARRRRGGGHHHHHHH!

I still haven't settled on a special thing for V-day... but I'm thinking I just may buy something to wear for hubby's eyes only That is totally not like me, and even at 186 pounds I'm not sure how I will do trying to pull it off.... but it would definately shock him!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

*YAY* Let's do this you guys!!!

Weight goal: -50 lbs to 183.
Exercise goal: each week, 3x running and 2x personal training (they're booked in, so I'm not sure if they count as "goals").
Mini-goals: 223, 213, 203 and 193 (I'll think of treats for myself on those later )
Challenge reward: this needs work! I have no idea how to treat myself....

And this means I've lost 25lbs overall, since the beginning of my weight loss journey w00t w00t! (only because the no. on the scale isn't everything...I've really got to get back into RUNNING! Please feel free to kick my butt and ask me if I've gone running over the next few days...)

09/27/09 - no weigh in, away from scale

10/04/09 - 219 (-4/-14) 0x running 2x personal training 6lbs away from my second mini-goal!

10/11/09 - 216 (-3/-17) 1x running (a 4 mile long race! ) 2x personal training 3lbs til my next mini-goal! Bring it on!

10/18/09 - 216 (0/-17) 1x running 1x personal training. This week's been really really weird so I'm happy just to have maintained for a bit Really happy that I'm back into running though, want to keep that up. And I'm still on course for my next mini-goal in 3lbs' time, so it's all good here! Here's to a big loss coming next week!

10/25/09 - 215 (-1/-18) 1x running 1x personal training. Arrrgh, it's going too slowly! I need to tighten up on what's going into my mouth. Blegh!

This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.
