Default Getting More Veggies In

I came across this recipe in another support group forum - sounds weird but it's really good - tastes just like ground up apple.

Green Cereal
1/2 c. broccoli (raw)
1/2 c. cauliflower (raw)
3 baby carrots
1 apple, cored
5 almonds, toasted

Place all in food processor and pulse until about the size of couscous. One VERY Large serving or enough for two to share.

The "inventor" ate this with soy milk, but I eat it just like a salad.

Oh this is good stuff. I posted a similar recipe (Veggie Cereal) on my blog some time ago. The only difference is I used pecans and add some cinnamon. And I do eat it with almond milk. SO good. I have a photo of it around here somewhere, I need to post it.

Sounds good! I've made cauliflower 'rice' before and it is such a functional veggie, it is amazing.

Very interesting. Although the thought of adding milk doesn't appeal to me. I think I'd prefer it on it's own.

Which kind of makes sense. I had no problem devouring "real" cereal without milk.
