Goal rewards
When I reach my END GAME goal I want to buy a pair of custom made jeans from www.indidenim.com
Do you have a goal reward, piece of clothing, anything at all that you can't wait to get for yourself that keeps you going?

I have saved up about $1000 to invest in a new wardrobe I need to be able to hang at or near my goal weight for at least two weeks to get it....I have no idea if I set my goal weight too low or not so this will give me a chance to see!

I have a whole closet full of cute 8-14 clothes in my closet at my parent's house that I only wore once or twice. I can't wait to wear them again!

Most of my goals are action based. Like I want to do rock climbing but I want to get to around 170 before I start that. I also want to go on an active vacation that includes hiking, kayaking and other stuff. I also want to go on a glacier hiking trip.
I also want to resize my wedding ring but again want to get to around 170 before I do it.

I'm going to go to New York on a massive shopping spree to those cute little one-of-a-kind boutiques in Soho that heretofore I've visited with my friends and held their purses (and pretended to be disinterested) whilst they tried amazing clothes on.
And then I'll go to Nordstrom and try all the evening dresses I've admired for ages.

I wanted (and bought) an electric scooter. I always wanted one and it was the perfect reward for me.
OK, the scooter and a closet full of cute clothes

Oh girl I have a whole list of rewards for each of my 10% goals... I hang them on my fridge so if I'm tempted to reach in to munch I've got a whole list of reasons not to in front of my face...
Goal 1- hair cut with a style, might not sound eww and ahh to some, but I have 2 kids and a husband...this is a treat for me.
Goal 2- pedometer watch
Goal 3- new jeans (if size 16 or less)
Goal 4- family photos
goal 5- special date night out
goal 6- shopping at v.s's!!
goal 7- new wardrobe and possibly a tattoo that i designed ages ago symbolizing my three kiddos

I must get round to setting myself some rewards.
Like the jeans site a lot! Although I wanted straight cut, not flared or wide.
I was thinking the other day that I'd like some clothes made to measure, even when I'm lighter, I'm still an apple, and any trousers I buy that fit my waist just bag hopelessly round the behind. And skirts are too long. And jackets don't sit right. Looks like a made-to-measure 3 pc suit coming up!

my current goal is set by november, if i fit into a size 16 jeans then dh is taking me away for the weekend, without our son! i have also been giving him the money i would have spent going to weight watchers meetings every friday for the past 3 months so if i reach the size 16 goal by the end of november i get all that money to buy some sexy lingerie.
i'm not sure what i will reward myself with for the end result, i'm gonna work towards this goal first and then we can go from there.

Oh my, I haven't given this as much thought as I should do.
To me the notion that I will actually be smaller hasn't yet become "real" (even though I'm already down more than 15lbs on my starting weight). I've always been fat; I've always had the enormous thighs; I can't picture myself slim and shapely and nicely curvy. So it's hard for me to even set goals, let alone begin to promise myself rewards. Am I just shooting myself in the foot here?
Added to that is that my weight loss is part of a bigger process of change. I have to face the fact that cr*p from my youth has affected me, and not in a good way either. My overeating and being overweight are symptoms of deeper problems in my case. So the things I can bring myself to look forward to, my "goals" if you like, are things like being truly confident about myself (not faking it), not being so emotionally dependent on others, and being happy and settled. I suspect I'm not going to wake up one day and feel, "Gosh, I'm 'better'!"
Having said that, I'm trying to convince a friend to come to the spa with me for a day sometime in the Autumn when we've both reached some mini-goals (the one in my sig of 230 by the beginning of September seems doable, but maybe I can push another one by the beginning of October or something.

I divided the 100 lbs I plan to lose into 4 groups of 25 and set a reward for each .. Ha. It makes it seem more attainable for me to divide it up like that!
Anyway. For the first 25 ill buy some toms shoes, the 2nd 25 a MAC makeup palette, the 3rd 25 will be hair rollers, and the last 25 will be whatever jeans I want from a skinny store!
