Default Tortillas?

What are the best tortillas to eat while trying to lose weight? I am not big into carbs, but I would like to eat a tortilla 3 or so times a week.

Thanks!

I LOVE la banderita soft taco shells. They are kidn of big for a 'taco' I use them to make smaller burritos.

they are VERY soft, they don't crumble when you fold them, and they are wheat and low fat and low carb.

La Tortilla factory, 50 calories for a taco-sized whole wheat tortilla. If your store doesn't carry them, you can buy them online!

I like the la tortilla factory ones too. They have them at the Costco here. They are the larger ones that are 80 calories, but they are really good. I also like the flat-out wraps. They have them at Wal-Mart. The light ones are 90 calories and they are big.

I buy Missions whole-wheat low carb tortillas. The big ones have 200 calories and 21 grams of fiber. I think they taste incredible.

I like the misson whole wheat low carb tortilla. as long as they are fresh they should not crumble. also dont keep them in the fridge as they seems to dry them out quickly.

I'm not much of a carb person either, but when I want to make a wrap I love the La Tortilla Factory tomato basil ones.

i just found these Tam-ex-icos wheat tortillas at Meijers, and they're the only ones i could see without any partially hydrogenated oils. they stay soft and they're low-cal too. wonderful!

I prefer corn over flour tortillas with Mexican food. I love the Mission Extra Thin corn ones. 80 calories for 2.

Mugcandoit - I get those FlatOuts at any grocery store and even Costco.

I love the La Tortilla Factory because they're only 1pt for a big one...but they are so hard to find! However, as I was shopping in Wal-mart today, I came across La Bandarita Fat Free tortillas and those are pretty good sized and only 1pt (90 cals) too! I was super excited. I haven't tried them yet, but I like the smaller size La Bandarita, so I bet these FF ones are good too!

Thank you all for your recommendations! I am LOVING the La Tortilla Factory Multi-Grain tortillas. 12 grams of fiber per tortilla! Yum.

I am usually a don poncho fan but tried La Tortilla white corn last night for tacos. They were abit small for me (the 41 gram size). I'd rather have a slightly larger tortilla so I can fill it with more lettuce, tomato, and bean than have 2 tortillas to eat the same volume of insides. Also, they would so not work for enchiladas.

I'm glad to hear they make different sizes, I'll have to look around.
