Default Doing good so far (fingers crossed)

Its strange i am a self proclaimed food addict. Well I have been eatting normal servings and no junk for about two weeks now and lost 10 pds. But whats really weird is I find myself eatting because I have to. I dont want to eat anymore. But know if I dont I wont lose so I do. But I eat fast and dont even enjoy it. I just seem to have it in my mind to just get it out of the way. I just think its a weird mind set Im in I think of ffod as fuel not for enjoyment. I used to love to eat untill after the binge then feel guilty. I am determined to keep this way of thinking and go all the way this time. It just feels like something has finally clicked in me. Anyone have thios happen? I pray its not a phase and I'll change back this has never happened to me before!

Eating for fuel is Ok. And do that for as long as you have too. Nothing wrong with that.

But try, in time, not to be afraid of enjoying your food.

Sometimes you will feel the way you do now.. and other times will be a struggle. You will have ups and down. The key will be to go with the flow and keep things in control at the same time.

This lifestyle change is all about balance - nothing too extreme.

Congrats on your 10 lbs lost so far!

It comes and goes for me too. Somedays I feel like I'm stalking the dogs with 2 slices of bread, ready to clap them into a sandwich. Others, like yesterday, I ended on 902 calories and not even hungry.

I congratulate you, though, on experiencing the feeling that you don't have to stuff yourself with everything in sight, just because you can. It's a great sense of liberation, isn't it?

Dukan & divin'.....
