So those of you who hang out in this part of the forum know I've recently given up junk food. Then I started wondering what I could do next to bump up my weight loss just a smidge, since I only lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks by just giving up junk.
I think that's mainly because I was eating a lot of nuts to help curb the sugar cravings. So I decided I would cut out the nuts and start tracking my calories. So for the past 2 days I've tracked my calories and I'm eating around 1200.
Is that enough? I can easily add a little avacado, a little more cheese, or a spoonful of peanut butter to the mix if it's not.
Also, I'm eating a lot more sodium that I thought, so thanks to those of you who recommended I track my cals.
A related problem, the reason I'm a little on the low side is that food just seems so blah without junk. I really have to change my thinking about it. Yesterday I was totally jonesing for some cookies. 3 weeks without junk and I'm still craving it?! That doesn't seem right. I don't want to be fantasizing about cookies for the rest of my life!
I don't want to eat cookies! So why do I want to eat cookies?!
