Do something you always wanted to weekend challenge!!
 

Is there something you would love to do but have let your weight stop you? A dance class, running, a makeover?? This is the weekend to do it. Life does not stop because we have gained weight, life starts when we stop letting our weight hold us back :D

So, I'm posting the picture of my new tattoo to get us started (that's my sister's leg next to mine with her "matching tattoo minus my kid's initials" -- I got this two weeks ago -- it was my "100 lb weight loss gift" but I got tired of waiting. Sure, I'll still continue to lose weight, but with each pound lost, I intend to become more secure in myself, less willing to let my life pass me by and open myself up to the world around me again!!!

It's ok and in response to the post I have really really been wanting to take an actual dance class for the longest time. I used to be on a dance team back in HS and I loved it. I wasn't very good but I had so much fun doing it. I keep telling myself that when I get to whatever size I'm going to sign up for a class, but maybe I'll try it sooner.

I'm so friggin nervous to try it though. Being around a bunch of skinny dancers can be discouraging at times...

I think you should go -- my mother keeps telling me that people around me are so not interested in me -- even though I swear everyone is watching!! I bet you would have a great time.

This challenge sounds incredibly exciting but I need ideas!

Is there something you always wanted to learn but were afraid? A class you'd like to take -- aerobics, college, etc. Something as simple as stopping at a make up counter for some pointers?? Maybe an art class? What did you like to do when you were younger and just don't have time to do anymore?? Good luck. :hug:
