Cool Making my way back to 3FC proudly after gaining it all back

...And so, I was very active here about 1.5-2 yrs. ago and the support was a big factor in my losing over 50 lbs. Thanks to school, relationships, just LIFE in general I put it all back on except for 1 lb. (yay for 1, haha!).

I've learned the lessons in all of these trials and how I should not allow other factors to affect my weight. Oddly enough I have remained active and am still at the same fitness level when I was 50 lbs. lighter. This has proven to me the weight loss journey is predominantly mental. Food is not for comfort folks!

I have lost a lot of weight in relation to people, situations and circumstances that weighed heavily on me, which ultimately contributed to my gain. So now, it's time for to get back to focusing on me.

It feels good to be back.

Good for you! You are back!
I had to chuckle a little about the one pound comment you made, but look at it this way. You stopped the gain! You didn't gain it all back plus some extra. That's a huge victory.

Keep posting!

Welcome home!! I remember you from "back then", and I'm glad to see you again. It shows that you're ready to head back down the path again, and you're gathering your 3fc friends along for the journey.

We'll be with you, every step of the way!

Sounds like you've learned a very valuable lesson indeed! Although, I myself have to re-learn it from time to time .

Glad you're back and I look forward to hearing of your inevitable progress.

Glad to see you back! I just came back too. Hmmm... What lessons can we take from this?

1. When we're here, we lose weight
2. When we go away we gain weight

So simple!!!

I am back too!! I put on 40 lbs before coming back and I've lost almost 9 just this month of May!! Woohoo!!

Glad to see you are back too. I can get down to under 200 but then I freeze and then let it slowly come back. This year for me is about getting under 200 then slowly continue to take it off. I HAVE to do this. My kids are getting older and are more active and I'm wearing out from it all. I need energy to keep up with them. I can't carry this extra weight around on me all the time.

This is our year. We can do this. We can.

Hugs, Selina

Really, good for you for not gaining it all back PLUS some. I gained back my 100 plus another 50 in 2003... welcome back.

Awww...see that's why this place is so awesome! You guys are soooo nice and helpful.

Why did I stay away so long?
Slashnl - Yes, I had to point out that one pound I didn't gain back, lol.

Synger - Yesss, I remember you too! Thanks for the kind words.

emmalee51 - You've got it! That exactly what I tell myself, only this time I am equipped with the knowledge of my own traps and how to avoid those to keep the weight off.

rockinrobin - I remember you as well! Even away from 3FC I thought about your story often. Thank you for the kind words too!

CLCSC145 - I remember you too CLC! Yes, I was thinking the same thing as I was posting the thread! Welcome back to you too as well and good luck!

Soon2BFitChick - I remember you too! Welcome back to you too as well! Congrats on 9 lbs. This month so far, and May isn't over yet chica! Keep up the good work.

ConfessorSiuan - Thank you! I'm just so happy to restart this journey with a clear head! This time I feel more centered than before. Good luck to you on your journey!

DC - Thank you. Yes, somehow I managed to not gain over, lol. You have done an awesome job! Keep up the good work!

Again, thank you all!
