I didn't like keeping track of calories at first. I went through a couple of different online tracking sites and decided I like The Daily Plate. It just seemed so tedious at first, but as I got used to it, I maneuvered much more quickly. I also started using the weight graph and it is cool to see it going in the right direction!
I think the accountability is something that is critical to have. I know that I can easily convince myself that I haven't had as many calories unless I have to document them. It makes you think about what you are eating, and do you really want to have to do a search for nachos, donuts, cookies, etc!! Even portion size is documented, so you can't fudge too much!
