Wow..I'm kinda shocked they didn't send you into surgery asap. I had ONE attack, and I had surgery the very next day. I hope you get into surgery soon.

ow ow ow , big hugs. Keep pressing your gp or whatever your route to the surgeon is. I understand (UK dweller) the double edged sword of free state health provision: yes, it's free, yes there's a huge waiting list! hugs

Oh, HotMama --- I am sorry you are hurting so and I am sorry you have to WAIT for this obviously very needed surgery! Sending some very strong "get the heck off your behind and get this lady into the operating room ASAP" thoughts to your doctor. I hope this episode passes very, very quickly.

I don't understand why they're not getting you in surgery any faster than they have. Just sending someone home on morphine is NOT good doctorin' in my opinion!

Sending get well wishes...hopefully the doctors will hurry up and get you "fixed." Until they get your surgery set up, you may want to track what you are eating (especially leading up to both attacks) and see if something is triggering the attacks. Might at least help save you future attacks until you have surgery. I know acidic foods (teas, citrus, etc.) and a lot of fats (as in many different kinds, not large quantities) can trigger gallbladder attacks.

Hopefully you won't have to deal with this much longer.
