Red face Getting around to Introducing Myself

to the 100lb Club Finally .

I've been reading this board everyday since mid-April and slowly working up to actually joining in - It seems like today is the day! Everyone here is really amazing and positive - I wish all my friends were like everyone here! I'd hang out with them more

I have learned more about weight loss this past month than ever before. I always heard drink 8 glasses of water but never knew why! (I used to just drink 8 glasses of liquid.. Juice and Coffee were my FAVS and only choice!)

I have initially been eating low-carb (more like a Pre-Atkins Induction because I have slipped up a few times). I really have been missing some comfort foods (yoghurts and fruit mainly). I know Atkins will introduce it back in eventually, but with so much to loose (130lbs) It is going to be a long time. Sigh.

Anyways... Just wanted to introduce myself properly - Here is to my journey of losing 130lbs, becoming fit and learning to Maintain my weight loss for life.

Welcome emmalee! Quite the semi-lurker myself, but I totally agree with you that these forums are amazing - the people here really are fantastic

Hello there, EmmaLee!

I suspected we had another ninja warrior lurking in the shadows, but you guys are so darn effective at being sneaky, I could never spot you! Boy, did you surprise us when you de-cloaked next to the ice dispenser at 100+ headquarters --- I was so shocked I fell off the pogo stick!

Seriously, I am very glad you decided to take the big step out into the light and join us in our quest to become healthy, active and dangerously silly people here on the board. I agree that this is one of the most supportive, well-informed group of people I have ever run into. You know that there is a lot more on this site than the great communities, right? Recipes, fitness and health articles, even shopping links --- just go to the home page of this wonderful site: http://www.3fatchicks.com/

I look forward to hearing more about your weight loss adventure --- and, of course, learning the secret ninja tricks for slaying those obnoxious pounds of fat! WELCOME!
