Not waiting until I'm thin to do the things I want.

  • So, today bf and I walked about a half mile down to the trail and skating on our roller skates for awhile before walking a mile or so out to the south side works and then watched wolverine and then walked back and skated again since we had some time to kill. THen we walekd the .5 mile back home, all uphill! I didn't have to stop once for a breath, but it was definately a work out. It felt good. It feels good to be back on track.

It felt amazing! I can't wait till the pool opens! and kennywood (amusement park) and bf won two free tickets there at work at a meeting. So I need to lose about 20 more lbs so I can FIT in the stupid rides. I can probably lose more than that by then if I am on track though.

    missed you guys!
  • Yay! That's so great for you!! It's so freeing to be able to do things and not have that extra weight as a hindrance!! You go girl! You can def. lose more than 20 lbs before going to kennywood, you can!! good luck!

  • Great message! Don't let life pass you by on your way to getting thin!
  • I am so glad you feel this way!

I spent to many years doing too many diets where I told myself "I am not going to let myself do _____ until I get to goal". I think I had this weird complex where I didn't think I was "deserving" while overweight. When I changed that way of thinking, it opened up new doors, and I have made much more progress.

I am glad you had fun! keep it up! Life is too short to wait to do the things we want
  • Good for you, Lottie. Sounds like it was a really great and active day.
  • That's great... cute new pic.
