Timetolose - I'm just counting calories and not going too low. I'm averaging 1450-ish, aiming for 1500-1550 but leaving a bit of a gap to allow for accidental underestimating.
I've cut out bought bread, red meat and dairy, because I've discovered they contribute to fluid retention.
I've increased my activity but am not a massive exerciser yet, just a daily walk 5/7. The gym is next month's goal.
