  • so over the last few days i could tell i was getting sick .. well this morning i wake up and i have a fever of 103 a horrible headache very light headed cant stop coughing .. i think i have every side affect to being sick .. how am i suppose to get all of my calories in .. the thought of food makes me want to puke .. and i cant even drink water because for some reason it even tastes funny to me .. this sucks so bad because i know once i get better ill probably gain and still be stuck in these dreaded 280s that i cannot seem to get out of .. i did up my calorie intake to 1800 so hopefully ill start seeing the number on the scale drop
  • I have been sick to and didn't want *any* dairy.

You may or may not gain but you CAN get back on your plan when you feel better, right?

Don't let this little setback cause you to give up!
  • I might get crucified for this, but speaking as someone who just got over being sick (literally yesterday was the first day I didn't think I would die), I think you should just concentrate on getting better. Eat some soup, stay hydrated, get plenty of rest and tackle it when you are feeling better. If you push yourself too hard it might prolong your sickness and put you further behind.
  • just try to eat what you can, and make it as nutritious as possible. We've all been sick on our diets, and we're still doing okay.

I totally agree. If you are sick, just concentrate on getting better. Don't let thoughts of losing weight make you do things that will keep you sick longer. You get right back on track once you are yourself again. If you have a fever of 103 degrees, your body could care less about a diet or losing weight.
