Augh, regrets!

I know I still have a long way to go, but I am loving how much better I feel!

I exercise 7 days a week. I absolutely love it. I wish I could do more than 30-60 mins but I get so sore I don't want to push it. My abs are KILLING ME today. (got an exercise ball!!! and hand weights too!) and I roller skate now, and it's really really hard for me. My ankles get SO SORE and I can only go around 3 times in a row before I need to let my ankles rest (before I could only go around once though!) so, progress!

I can't wait for summer, by summer I should be able to RUN...and definately be able to swim. I found my bathing suit, I thought my friend took it when she moved away but she didn't. I'm so excited! :D

Anyhow, I love being active and I feel like I have missed out on a lot by rotting in front of the computer all the time for years and years getting fatter and fatter. look at what I missed out on...

Dont' wait till yer at goal! Get out there and do stuff now! It's amazing! :D

I just got an exercise ball too, love it. Got to work on my balance tho, I have rolled off of it a couple of times.

I want to get a ball just for sitting at my computer!

I had an exercise ball once. I never could figure out how to stay on it :).

lottie, you sound like you are having a ball...and the rollerskating--what a great idea..I LOVED ROLLERSKATING when I was a kid..i want to go now! LOL...keep having fun! :)

Sounds like you are having a great time! Keep at it!!!!

I absolutely love your attitude, Lottie and you are so dang right --- THIS moment is the life we are living, not some hypothetical moment when we get to goal or something. We need to embrace what we have right now and make our lives RIGHT THIS MINUTE what we want them to be. Maybe the time you were more introverted was necessary for you to get to this point -- at any rate, you are living too vibrantly for regrets.

Just keep being Lottie with that amazing sense of humor and the balls to be out there trying it all on for size --- the rest of us will try to keep up!

Carpe diem --- nah, too dull --- carpe JUGULUM!

(Great post, by the way!)

I love that sore feeling . . . I've been exercising for 2 months now and I've grown to love the challenge and the sore muscles. It is totally worth it . .

I miss working out SO much, I had SO much more energy, I slept like a baby every single night... so I am reading all of this with a TON of envy! I had to back off from exercise almost 4 weeks ago, and thought since the pain I've been experiencing went away I'd get at 'er today! I planned a walk, and then hurt my knee... poop :( .. so enjoy your exercise, and get a little in for me too ;)

I knew I had turned a corner with exercising when I surprised myself by feeling a tad bit envious of those who could go out running in the middle of the day in the winter (cause I have to work and have to make do with DVD's during the week and then on the weekend its either bad weather or I'm tied up with other committments--whine, whine).

BUT Daylight Savings Time is almost here and I can get out in the late afternoons again.

I can't wait to get back to that place. Sounds like you are enjoying yourself and getting healthy at the same time.
