I was just contemplating the same thing and talking to my husband about it. He knows i'm dog tired every morning because he wakes me up every day after i have hit the snooze twice. He said not to get up in the morning but to work out when i feel best, which is in the evening. if i think that working out in the mornings is the only time, i am just setting myself up for failure. he is fit, runs about 8 miles a day, even in texas's 100+ degree weather, but he said he'd rather run mid day in that heat than wake up before work and lose sleep over it. if you liked getting up in the mornings try this instead - start off with a few evening work outs then slowly move to mornings, like one morning a week and 4 evenings, then 2 mornings and 3 evenings, and so on until you are back on track. getting the evening exercise will give you more energy, help you lose the weight, and help motivate you to get up in the future am!
