Default Bad Weekend--Must Do Better!

This weekend was a horrible eating weekend. I ate everything in the house, even sweets, and I am a diabetic. I THINK I got it out of my system, so this week is going to be superb!

Must do better!!

hmm that last bit is bad but you know, sometimes we all eat too much and it doesn't do us any harm!

Think of it as a blip and now you're back on the wagon so to speak

The good thing is you recogonized it and are ready to move on. Get right back on the truck and keep movin. We all have our bad days, weeks, sometimes even months, but what matters is that we turn our happy little selves right back around in the right direction.

I almost made it. My weekend was going great until last night. I was so close...
But I had to bingeeeeeeeeee... I ate so much that my belly was hurting and felt like I was going to explode...
I feel horrible today... like the last person in the earth.
Why do we do that to ourselves???
I am just so hopeless... I have NO control.
I am back to my plan today, but I feel so sad and depressed.
Oh well, tomorrow will be another day...

Okay, you know I gotta ask - what were SWEETS doing in your house?!?!?! And whatever else the "everything" is?

Mug, you MUST set yourself up for success. Why make it any harder then need be? I'm sorry, I can't recall your exact circumstances, if you live alone or not, I know that could definitely change things. But even if you do, remember, it's THEIR food. Not intended for you.

Anyway, fortunately, we get as many chances as we need at this. No reason on earth this week can't be superb! And when that week is over, ahhh, you will feel MARVELOUS. So much so that you'll want to repeat it over and over again.

Make yourself a plan and STICK to it. Get whatever junk is left in the house -O U T. Go shopping and stock up on GOOD, HEALTHY foods. One that will make your dreams a reality.

I completely agree with Rockinrobin - your LIFE depends on cutting back on sweets due to diabetes. My dad's mother died when my poor dad was only 15 due to complications of diabetes - it is serious. If you live alone, get rid of that stuff right this second. If you live with other people, surely they can commit to keeping the house junk food free since your LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.

If you can't control your eating habits, take it out of the house! Most the diabetics I know wipe the whole house clean of anything that they can't eat, if they can. I used to live with a room mate. I had very strict rules about it. I NEVER ate his food. EVER. Although sometimes he ate my food but I knew if I ate his spaghettos, I'd be ruining my health (even though I know one can won't hurt, in the long run, if I fell off the wagon, it would be).
