So last night I went out to a retirement party for one of my friends moms... I''m just getting over my TOM and still felt bloated and gross and thought my jeans were too tight. You know those days you think everything looks bad. And one of my best guy friends, who I've had a little crush on for probably 4 years (but we are both in relationships) comes over and outta the blue says, "are you losing weight, it looks like you've lost a lot of weight" I said yes I've been dieting and exercising yada yada, .."well you can definitely tell, you look really good"

I was BEAMING! I'm just so happy someone noticed because I can't tell yet so when I hear it from others it makes me feel like my hard work is starting to pay off. And the fact that it came form someone who's opinion I really value didn't hurt either!

How exciting! It will be the first compliment of many I am sure. Congratulations!

Maybe you're right! I'm so oblivous when guys like me so I never pick up on any of those little things. That would make the compliment even better!

Thats great.. The little boy I babysit told me I was fat yesterday.. Boy do little kids tell the truth.
