Okay.. I've been in the states for 4 years and I'm still confused about your measuring system! (you should see me at the deli - I always ask for a bunch ) - I was born and raised in Canada, btw.

how many oz in a quart.. and a gallon.

a quart is smaller then a gallon, right?

I so much prefer the metric system!! I am trying though.. my goal is 96 oz of water..

yesterday I did 76.. a big improvement

Hey

There are 32 ounces in a quart.
Four quarts = 1 gallon (128 ounces).

I try to get about a gallon of water/day.... More when it's warmer outside, or my activity level is up, as I tend to need it so much more.

Here's a neat site that has helped me with measurements:

Dana - the metric system is comparable to imperial in a lot of ways. A litre is about the same size as a quart and 4 litres is about a gallon. I refer to my water intake in imperial because we have more Americans here than not so it just makes it easier for everyone to understand if we use the same measurements.

Had a disappointment at WW, lost .8 but was expecting more. friday was not a good day point wise. I didn't even journal but I think it was at least 40-50. Yikes! Well water wise I was doing well until friday and then it went down hill. I'm chugging away today though. Trying to make up for the past 2 days.

Jen.. I have been having a real tough weekend too.. I am doing everything I can to stay within points today. Friday and Saturday I went over by about 10 each day.. ouch. There is no real reason why... I just wanted to eat!

still drinking water.. gulp gulp.. but need much more. I was doing about 70 oz/day this week.. but this weekend I probably have done only about 30-40 each day
Sounds funny to say.. but I need this long weekend to be over!
