Another calorie counter here who eats a set amount of food. And one who unfortunately still eats waaaay too fast. I DO need to work on it. Jessica cetainly makes some good reasons as to why eating slower may be beneficial.
But I don't think that eating slowly is the most important and determining factor in weight loss. I have a calorie allotment that I adhere to, so therefore I have a predetermined amount of food that I eat. That is what I believe it all boils down to.
So while there may be some benefits to slowing down, I would not rely on it soley as a weight loss plan.
