We tried the brussels sprouts tossed in olive oil and spices, then roasted in the oven thing tonight for the first time...

...and I am amazed to report that it's a smashing success! Even the veggie-phobic 7-year-old is enjoying them and requested more.

i normally hate veggies but I have recently found some I will eat after a friend told me how best to fix them. its mixed bag with broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, squash and carrots. I spray a pan with PAM, spread the veggies out, spray them with PAM and then season them with what ever your preference is, I like Natures Seasoning then broil till the cauliflower and broccoli start to turn brown. I will everything but the carrots.

I love steaming whole artichokes. It takes a bout an hour. Then I peal each pettle and tat the meat off each. It takes time to eat. Then you get to cut out the heart and its like a treat at the end.
