Good Morning! Hope everyone is enjoying what is left of the weekend! I totally overdid it yesterday w/ the 5 mile watp dvd. Ended up taking pain meds for my knee, which didn't really help. Today is my 'rest day' and will take FULL advantage of that! Going to lounge w/ the dogs and watch movies...our cable bill is going to be HUGE w/ on demand movies!

dmc--Welcome!!! I don't count calories, but many others here do, so I'm sure someone can help w/ your questions.

I am going to take 1/2 day off on Friday so dh and I can go get our Christmas tree and so we can decorate. With his work schedule it's always hard to fit in decorating this time of year! Then Sat is my mani/pedi...cannot wait!!!! Such a treat. Then I will probably go Christmas shopping. Wow, I must be bored this morning....already planning NEXT weekend!

I can't believe I am saying this, but I am looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow. I have lots to do and it will help distract me from my ortho appt on Thurs.

Have a great OP day everyone!

Hi everyone! I had a good visit with my family. My grandson really brightened my spirits. My food was off track. However, I am going to try and push thru all the urges to continue to over eat or binge.

My plan for today:

I need to push thru feelings of wanting to overeat or binge.

food for today

breakfast - egg white scramble with ketchup, pnb toast, 1/2 banana
lunch - turkey sandwich with lite cheese open face, green beans
snack - applesauce and cheese
dinner - cabbage soup, garlic toast
snack - oatmeal, fruit, milk

I'll be back later for personals.

Have a GREAT day.

No time for personals right now (but welcome dmc!)

Last night was hubby's birthday party and I was GOING to have a piece of dessert. It's been forever since I did. So I bought a glorious chocolate cappucino cake for the party AS WELL as a tray of rocky road squares (for only 240 calories a piece). So I budgeted 350 for my snack last night, picked up a box of 100 calories breyers ice cream cups and had my rocky road square, my cup of ice cream and I was good...

UNTIL my hubby's friend tried to TAKE AWAY MY FOOD! He comes over, grabs the bowl and says "I'm not going to let you do this to yourself, I'm being a good friend and taking this away." !!!!!!!!!!!! The whole room was in shock. I explained (very nicely) that I had budgeted this food into my daily 1800 calories and that he would probably lose an arm if he continue to touch it.

He felt like an ***. I felt very in control. It was okay.

okay I have my menu plan done but now I gotta go clean. Be back inna bit.

cfmama... omg, wth is wrong with people. You handled it beautifully though. I would have bitten his head off and stormed away angry. I flip out easily lately though.

I'm sick. Got sick yesterday, seems like the flu. Chills, fever, aches. Would be nice if I had a little help with the toddler, but my husband (who is home for the holidays) is too busy playing internet games.

Wah.

cfmama--Great job...I'm not sure I would have handled myself so well--I tend to get pretty sarcastic!

Lyn--Oh no, you have enough to deal w/ without being sick! Feel better soon.

Today is my 3rd OP day in a row!!!!

I did take it easy today, but do plan to hit the gym tomorrow.
