Stuck-- Advise

Hi all --

Well I have been stuck at 200.02 for the past two weeks -- I weigh in on Wend but got on the scale today and it still hasn't moved. I have already doubled my exercise ( I was walking 2-2 1/2 miles 5 days) Now I do two times a day.

I have tried to move to protein only but that didn't work. I have stayed the exact same. What else can I do?

Thanks for any ideas or advise--

Keep on keeping on. :)

2 weeks is not an unusual amount of time to not lose weight. Sometimes our bodies just do what they want. As long as you're not gaining back or feelign bad, just stay on plan. Eventually the scale will start to move again. :)

Have you tracked how your weight relates to your cycle? I always stop losing for about a week and a half when my period starts. Then, if on top of that you increase your exercise significantly, you may also retain water in your challenged muscles.

My advice - just keep going. 2 weeks isn't significant enough to be a plateau. Sometimes our bodies just take a break from losing.

Increasing your exercise can sometimes cause your weight loss to pause until your body adjusts, also. So likely, it'll work itself out.

In another 2 weeks, if you still have no loss, you can try dropping your calorie level a bit to see if that works, as long as you're still at a reasonable level (1200 calories or higher at an absolute MINIMUM)

Have you tried changing your exercise routine? Sometimes doing the same plan can get you into a rut. I've seen a lot of people throw in a new program or change up the level of intensity and it will help them kinda of give their body a kick in the butt :) I know you said you doubled up, but maybe something new all together might surprise your body into moving again.

So close to onderland too! You can do it; just stay strong. Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Maybe keep a food diary to see if you are slipping up anywhere.

A little calorie cycling can help too...a day of more than usual calories, then a day of fewer. It is counterintuitive, but sometimes increasing calories a bit helps loss. (I think it lets the body know that it won't starve and it can let go some of that stored energy.)

This too shall pass!

Thank you all so much for your feedback - I weighed in this morning and was down 1.4 so I entered onederland :) It is just frustrating when you try so hard and don't see immediate results. I love to come to this group because the people understand and have the same struggles.

THANKS--
