Not to worry about the standing part...Rudy (my big, beefy, adventuring hubby, for those who don't already know) has been surfing probably around 20 times, and has only stood up a few times

Congrats! It looks like so much fun. Since I'm from the midwest I think the only way I'll be able to surf is one of those surfing slip and slide toys for kids. LOL

HI--

I use to love surfing -- try using a 8' Soft board to get up until you get use to it then move to the hard board. I got to fat and out of shape to surf but am going to set that as one of my goals. Thanks for reminding me how much I use to enjoy it.

Good luck it is a great workout for your arms and lower body. I hope you keep trying new things.
