One Hundred Pounds.
It's been 16 months since I started Weight Watchers at 331 pounds. 16 months. Some of those months were easy, some hard, some stagnant, some painful, but they were all worth it.
I feel as though some burden has been lifted from me, and not just the weight. I feel strangely calm. It's so surreal. I feel as though I've made it through a brutal and life-affirming hazing process... and here I am... "officially" a member of the 100lb club. As of this night, I have lost 101 pounds. ...watch out you 80 others, I'm right on your tail :D |
