I lose weight at about 2 pounds at the least per week so if I keep that up I'll lose about 42 pounds by Christmas....so I should be 211, awesome!! It would be cool to come close to that, if not hit it.

Thank you for doing this thread Now that I have that in my head I know I'll be unstoppable!

I'm going to aim for Onederland by Christmas...but I'm going to move it up a week for me. My 28th birthday is December 18, which is exactly one week before Christmas...I'd really like to start my 28th year in Onederland.

Like Sunshine, my goal is Onederland. My 15th wedding anniversary is on December 18th. I like to wear a sexy little black dress, so I'm concentrating on losing inches, too.

Default By Christmas

Okay I am going to say I want to be 200lbs by Christmas at this time I am 242thats more like 2lbs per week but I am going to work my butt off and I think I will be able to do it because this is the start of my weight loss and I plan on stay OP and working out almost everyday extra hard. I just want to set a challenge for myself. I will be happy though if I can get to atleast 215 which would be my pre-pregnancy weight before I had my daughter in July of 2007.

Onederland sounds really good to me! I too can't remember when I weighed less than 200 pounds. I can't believe we are so close to Christmas.

I can't wait for the day I start living in Onederland, it seems so far away! But ideally I want to lose about 4lbs a week, which I've been doing the last few weeks, so that 80lb loss would put me at around 170! I think that's a little low [and really high expectation!] so I'd be ecstatic if I got to 190, that'd be the best Christmas ever!

But most of all I'd love to be able to buy a really cute Christmas outfit in a size that doesn't look enormous on the hanger! Even though it's not how it looks on the hanger that counts, my clothes always just look a lot bigger than everyone else's.

I totally crashed and burned through the holidays last year. And then kept on gaining. So I would like to lose 21 lbs which would be one pound less than I weighed last Christmas. (I now have alot of fear about the upcoming holidays given what happened to me last year.)

Nice question and inspirational replies!
I'm aiming for 42 off (3 stone in English), which would bring me to 170. I've just (re)started and am losing well and confidently, and I plan to gradually build up my activity levels.
Actually, 170 still sounds pretty heavy to me (only 5'2") - but I do vaguely remember that around that weight I stop looking obese and start looking cuddly. Cuddly for Christmas would be good!

I have 39 more pounds to go and I hope to be there by Christmas! At the rate I am going now, it should be attainable!

Hmm.... Christmas already? lol Well, my original plan was to lose 87 pounds by New Years (get to 215 lbs)... that's not going to work thanks to a month long binge that set me WAY back..

But by Xmas--- 21 weeks away... 1.5 lbs per week, would put me at approx 236 pounds... that's not too shabby! For a total of 66 pounds lost in a year (almost)... I would be too upset with myself for that!

Buy myself some nice new size 16's for Xmas... you wouldn't see me complaining!

Well, I just started on Monday. Ideally, if I lost 2 lbs a week consistently I'd be 40-42 lbs lighter. So since I'm starting at almost 257 lbs, I'd be 217 lbs. Pretty exciting and motivating to think about it like that

By December, I will no longer be obese. Wow. I can' remember a time when I haven't been, so that's just thrilling to think about. And I love the way I'm thinking about it -- not, "I might no longer be," but that I will no longer be obese. I can't wait to see what I look like then!!
