I just started a month ago and have been losing very slowly. By Christmas I'd like to be down at least 20lbs. So around 250lbs.
But, my ultimate goal would be to maintain going to the gym 4 days a week from now until Christmas!!

Hm...I'd previously written down that I wanted to be at 215 by Christmas, which means I have a little over 30lbs to go. But it sounds do-able to me!!
And hopefully when Christmas arrives, I'll find that I've stayed on track -- that would be my ideal Christmas present!

Brave
I'm probably going to get clobbered for saying this, but I would like to be down 40-50 pounds by Christmas.
I feel a lot of the same issues as FB stated in her post. I'm only in week 4 of my journey so far and it has been more emotional than I would have suspected but I've found a good grove and for the first time in as long as I can remember...I feel capable. I have been more active in the past week than I would have imagined 5 weeks ago. I think we get to a point in our weight where we start believing the limitations even when they are not there. I have surprised myself with my abilities, even at 305 lbs.

If I lose 30 pounds by Christmas I will be in the 160's. I weight right at 160 at my wedding 10 years ago. That would be awesome.
The truth is that I really want to still be on plan and moving forward. So far my results have been happening pretty fast and I expect it to slow down soon. I am hoping to not lose motivation when that happens.

If I lose 30 pounds by Christmas I would weigh 215lbs. That would be amazing. It's a great goal to head towards. Really helps me to look forward to something.

The answers are so inspiring! I love reading this thread and all the wonderful positive vibes coming from it!
Kofarq, thank you so much for the compliment. I really appreciate it. I wanted to say that having a healthy, reasonable-weight-gain pregnancy IS doable. When I was preg with #1 and 2 I did fine. I ate like a crazy person with #3 though. WIth #4 I had just lost 35 pounds and was determined not to regain it all. I did gentle water aerobics (dr okay'ed) and walked a bit. And I ate according to the book, "What to Eat When You're Expecting." I highly recommend it. Good luck

I hope to have a "Winter Onederland" for Christmas! Or on the brink, anyway
My husband has a thing for black velvet dresses at Christmas, so I'm hoping to be able to find one this year.

Farseashore ~ I'm hoping for a winter onderland too! Good luck to us both.
I'm hoping to be in the 185-195lbs range by then, wouldn't that just be the best Christmas present ever? It's been 6-7 years since I weighed that much!

I would love to be in onederland by Dec. It is doable. I haven't been in the 100's in at least 8-10 years. I can't even imagine it. But hopefully I will be able to experience it.

I don't really know where my final destination will be, but in any event, I will be close and well within normal BMI by then.

I've love to be a size 12; maybe even a 10 in some clothes?
I hope it's okay I posted here ladies. You are all such an inspiration, and I wish you luck!

Although Christmas is my least favorite holiday, "Bah Humbug!!" , I'd like to believe I'd be at 1/2 my goal weight. I'm losing 100 pounds 50 at a time. So, I'd like to see 25 pounds gone forever by then.
