Some pretty amazing things
So, my Fiance (Larry) and I joined a weight loss challenge back in April here in Delaware. Basically, you paid $29 to join, go to weekly classes/weigh ins, and who ever loses the most percentage of body weight wins! Well, Larry won! He lost an amazing 10.927% body weight, which was 33 pounds. He looks amazing. He won $475 and he's going to have his picture in the Milford Beacon *woot*. When we get pictures back, I will post them. I'm so proud of him.
We're joining another challenge next Tuesday. We're already prepped and ready to go. He took $100 from the winnings and paid for the 1st month + joining fee at a new gym opening up close to home, and I'm totally excited for the new gym! Its a World Gym and its got 24/7 (or 1440 as they call it... 1440 minutes in a day...) access and all new equipment. Private bathrooms (10 full bath rooms) and a lounge/snack area. This is basically something unheard of in Delaware (its a small state. We don't get much around here.)
Since this is the second six months of the year, I am very excited to see where my weight loss is going to take me. I can see the difference in the pictures from the 15 pounds lost durring the challenge. All together I have lost 25 pounds this year, and I'm hoping to double that and lose another 50 pounds by the end of the year, because I want to be the weight thats on my licence (226... which was a lie even then... The lowest I have been in the last 5 years is 275... *sigh*). I'm turning 21 this year so when I go to renew my licence, I will have to get a new picture, and that is motivation enough! Haha.
Anyway, I guess I've gotten off track somewhere along the way. I best be getting back to work now *hugs to all who need them*
