Best Cracker?

What do you think is the best cracker to eat when you want to put something on top, like cheese or tuna or salmon spread? I ask because I used to eat Ritz but they are high in fat and you only get 5 crackers in a serving. I need a healthier cracker that gives me more crackers per serving if possible (lower calorie)... higher fiber would be nice. Something nutritious would be ideal. Heck my ideal cracker would taste good with stuff on it, be crunchy, healthy and low calorie, satisfying and maybe even filling.

I have used cucumber slices in place of crackers sometimes, but sometimes I want a "real" cracker. What's your favorite? Suggestions?

All-Bran Garlic Herb crackers are great. One serving is 18 crackers, with 120 calories and 5 grams fiber. I also like low-fat Wheat Thins, in which one serving is 130 calories (I can't recall if there are ~16 crackers in a serving or not...).

I love Wasa Crisp 'n Light 7 Grain. They have 20 calories each and are really large and the flavor goes with anything.

I second the Wasa Crisp n' Light! At only 20 calories for a decently big cracker they've become a staple for me. All-Bran Garlic are also great, although I haven't had them recently, very tasty- I found I went overboard with those yummos.

I third (haha) the Wasa Crisp! They are very crunchy and yummy. I also like triscuits but not sure on the calories as I don't eat them often at all.

20 calories?? Okay I am sold. I will go get those Wasa Crisps and report back. My son fishes for salmon and I love salmon spread on crackers for lunch. THANK YOU!~

Here's another possibility.... Flat Pretzels. The brand I use is the snackfactory. They come in an "everything" flavor - and you get a whole serving of 11 crisps for just 110 calories. Plus no HFCS in them!

I eat reduced fat wheat thins.

My favorite is Ak mak. They are delicious, whole grain & honey, sesame seeds and very sturdy.

They are big crackers.

You guys have given me some great ideas! I will be scouring the cracker aisle for some of these options (def the wasas). Now I am all ready to make some salmon spread. Mmmmm.

I fourth the Wasa.

Also, TJ's sells these tiny shiny rice crackers that are really good and you get a ton of them for a point. Can't think of what they are called, but they are in a clear package with a blue label.

I usually eat the ritz 100 calorie packs because crackers are hard for me to limit. They're little things, but they have a good crackery taste and when the bag is gone I'm done.

I also like the light triscuits that are triangle shape, but it's a big box and I can do a lot of damage. :-)

I found some Wasas. They did not have "light" ones but I got the "Fiber" ones which are 35 calories each. I had 2 with Laughing Cow Light on them at lunchtime and they are YUMMY. These are going to be a staple. Thanks!!

I like the triangle triscuits and I have always liked the flavor of Wheatsworth Stone Ground: 80 calories for 5 crackers, total fat 3.5, 0 cholesterol, 10 g carbs, 180mg sodium.

I really like some I found called Mary's Gone Crackers. They are gluten free but the best thing about them is that they don't get stale or soggy so I can leave a box at my office and not have to throw half out if I don't eat them quickly. I am going to have to check out the Wasa's too though.
