Default HELP traveling clothes for heat

I need help with some ideas for what to buy and where to buy clothes (esp tops ) for traveling around Italy in May and June - I need to pack light - so the tops need to be wash and wear - I usually wear 100 percent cotton in the heat - but I need to iron that. I am tall and need to have shirts that are long also - any ideas of where and what to buy? I wear either a 1x or 2x.

What about tanks with a thin button down...you could pick up a couple of colors in tanks that will go with different shirts this way if you get too hot you can remove the outer shirt. Not sure of the name of the material but it actually looks like it is wrinkled.....that would work too. what about picking up a small steamer? they travel well and as long as you don't put water in it I think its safe to pack. Solid color tanks & pants or capris/shorts.....then a colorful button down top that could be used with any of the colors you have in tanks & pants....then you get multiple use out of just a few outfits.

Not sure where you can pick them up....Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug Plus, we have a place called CJ Banks...it is afiliated with Christopher Banks I really love the clothes I get from there......nice fabrics and "adult" styles....not teen styles.

Hope that helps?!?

Can you pack a travel size bottle of de-wrinkler? If you pick out what you will wear and hang it up and spray it, it will have time to de-wrinkle! Plus it smells really good! I know Downy has a product called Wrinkle Release.

I heard the wrinkle release was really overrated--- that if you spritz water on your clothes, smooth them with your hands while they're drying, that it works almost as well... ::Shrug:: I've used the downy stuff and didn't see anything miraculous!!!!

(If I'm in a hotel that doesn't have an iron, I hang my clothes up in the bathroom and run the shower on hot for a while to steam them up and go in and pull out the wrinkles occasionally) Yeah, it's wasteful in terms of water... but it works!!!

I'm tall too... I really have to shop around like crazy to find stuff that looks good... I went on a cruise last summer and I basically lived in teh same few tank tops and shorts--- kept rinsing them out in the sink and drying overnight... Didn't care too much about wrinkles as long as I was COMFORTABLE while running around in the heat all day!
