I'm down 1.5 this week. I'm off to a pretty good start. I'm going to keep it up!

Down 2 pounds this week but not sure it will stick. I've been on this awful plateau since Feb. 12 and can't seem to break it. Hopefully, by adding more fiber, I can start losing again...

I'm down 3 pounds, only 12 more to go! I'm also trying to get 600 minutes of exercise in this month, which I know is low goal, but I'm trying to start small and build myself up to more exercise. A month ago I was probably exercising 200 minutes a month, so any progress is a step in the right direction.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! You are totally rocking this contest already!!! Way to go! For those who haven't seen the scale move downward yet, just hang in there!! I am still the same myself, but FINALLY my family moved out this week, and I'm looking forward to hitting this really hard and heavy now that I don't have to cook for Cox's army! LOL!! We are going to be so much better off come Mother's Day 2008! I'm thrilled at all those who have joined and invite anyone else who maybe has been thinking about it to come on in!

I'm still at 165. Could be worse. Could be better. Don't know whether I'll make my goal, but I refuse to be disappointed if I come in at 155 or even 160.

I'm down 1.4 so far this week despite being on prednisone/ a steroid that makes people go crazy eating/gaining weight. It's a personal victory to use the drug and not end up with the 'moon face' that it gives.

Default Motivated!!

Alright, so I was going strong last year for about two months, lost 20 pounds, then fell off the wagon. So I gained 10 back "cry" and back to this again. Going to try for 7 pounds by mothers day, My body takes awhile to get back into shape and I usually don't see a change on the scale for about 6 weeks, but change in my health and my clothes. So I am doing this again and hopefully it sticks reading the forums again. I feel more motivated going to kick it in to high gear, my goals

no junk food or soda just water 1-2liters a day

exercise 4 times a week one hour

eat 6 times a day small meals and up my fiber and lean protein intake

"deep breath"

well here I come, 7 pounds lighter on mothers day!!

Well, I had hoped to have some good news to post, but alas, I have no change from last week. I have been hovering between 249.5 - 250.5 for the past 16 days... and of course, 250.5 on my offical weigh-in days... ugh!

Oh well, I'm hanging in there and hopefully, the scale will budge soon.

Looks like I am down 1.6lbs today. Not what I was hoping for. I feel kind of bloated so I will see if tomorrow morning shows a difference.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

UPDATE: I weighed this morning and I lost another lb. I am usually against weighing myself more than once a week, but I knew yesterday wasn't right. Total loss this week - 2.6.

I haven't been around for a while, but I think I'm just gonna jump right back in and join this challenge. It's now five weeks until Mother's Day, so I'm gonna start slow and easy. I'm shooting for five pounds. I've not yet met a challenge goal that I've set for myself, so I'm really going to try for this one.
