Come to think of it....blueberries sure sound nice right now

This past week I've been a bit crap about cooking breakfast - quite often make a low carb shake consisting of
Small carton coconut cream (8g fat, 6g carbs, 6g protein)
Couple of ice cubes
Handful of chopped strawberries
Scoop unsweetened almond butter
Half scoop whey protein powder (c.10g protein)
2 sachets sucralose

This morning, however, I made pancakes. Used ground almonds with some whey protein instead of flour, and served them with chopped strawberries, one sachet of sucralose, ground black pepper and some chopped bacon that I cooked in coconut oil.

Quote:
I've tried to blend in coconut oil in my eggs and such and it has a wierd taste and smell does anyone else find that in their coconut oil.
Man, I'm LOVING coconut oil! The stuff I'm using is cold pressed & it doesn't have a weird smell, imho - it smells and tastes like coconut. Which I was pretty much expecting, and since I like coconut it's all good! (sauteed some king prawns in it the other night - OMG, such yumminess!)
